There are two ways for your clients to gain access to the Client Portal if they have forgotten their password. If a client requests to reset their password, you can do so through the client’s Client Portal tab. Here's how:
- Go to the client's Overview page and click View/edit client info > Client Portal tab
- Click Reset Password in the Client Portal Access section
- Doing this will send an email to your client with a link to reset their password.
- Your client will also be able to do this themselves from the Client Portal. When they click Forgot your password? and enter their email address, they can select Send reset email to receive an email with a link to reset their password.
Note: The link in the email to reset a client’s Client Portal password does not expire.
