Part 2 - Add your first client

Creating a client's profile is the first step in setting up a client's chart in SimplePractice. It's easy to create a client by clicking on the +Create button at the top of your page and clicking Create Client. On this page, you'll enter the client's contact and demographic information or you can send them your Intake Packet (more on that later) to allow your client to complete this information themselves!
If you're billing insurance for a client, you'll enter that information by heading to the client's newly minted chart and clicking Edit Client Info > Billing and Insurance. Make sure that the Billing Type is set to Insurance and click +Insurance to enter your client's plan information.
You've created your first client! As you explore SimplePractice, you'll find many more useful controls on your client's chart but you've got the basics up and running!
