If you click the Print button for documents in SimplePractice a new tab will open with a formatted pdf ready to print.
Depending on your printer, your browser and your operating system, it will look something like this:
If you're not able to print from this screen, or if you click the print button and you only get a blank page, you're experiencing an issue with your Adobe Acrobat PDF viewer plug-in. Safari and Firefox are especially prone to this issue.
If you're experiencing this issue, you’ll see a blank PDF preview in your print dialogue box like this:
To resolve this issue
- The easiest way to resolve the issue is to click the cancel button on the print dialogue box.
- Hover over the PDF that's loaded in your tab and click the Print button that appears. It will look something like this depending on your browser and version of Adobe:
- You'll now be able to print from the print dialogue box that appears with a populated PDF preview.
