Adding a Product in SimplePractice

Products are non-appointment items you can charge a client for. Products allow for greater flexibility when it comes to client billing. Examples of Products include: 

  • Services that don't need to be on the calendar and don't have any documentation
  • Books
  • Online courses
  • Workshops
  • Returned check fee
  • Reports 
  • Credit card processing fee

Important: Make sure to verify whether passing credit card fees to your clients is legal in your state. See Adding a credit card processing fee to invoice to learn more. 

How to add a Product 

  • Navigate to My Account > Settings > Billing and ServicesProducts
  • Enter the name of your Product
  • Click Save
