What is a product?

A product is any non-calendar-based item that you wish to charge a client for.  Products allow for greater flexibility in billing within SimplePractice. 

Examples of products:

  • Services that you want to bill for, but don't require being put on the calendar or having associated documentation
  • Books 
  • Online Courses
  • Workshops
  • Returned Check Fee
  • Reports

Adding a product

1. Click on the Products tab in the Billing Settings.

2. Start entering the Product description in the first empty text field and set the price for the product. You can always adjust this fee later when adding the product to the invoice.

3. Click Save
