SimplePractice Learning has been discontinued effective October 1, 2024. To help our community of learners during this transition, we’ve prepared this guide to address frequently asked questions.

Why is SimplePractice Learning closed?

SimplePractice Learning has been discontinued as of October 1, 2024.

Closing SimplePractice Learning isn’t a decision we made lightly. While SimplePractice Learning has been a valuable resource for many clinicians, we’ve decided to focus on our core services within our EHR offering to better serve our community.


Are SimplePractice Learning courses available elsewhere?

Most SimplePractice Learning courses are now available via subscription the Professional Training module of Psych Hub's Mental Health Learning Platform, which offers a robust library of evidence-based courses and mental health content.


How does this impact my SimplePractice EHR account?

The SimplePractice Learning continuing education platform is independent of our SimplePractice practice management platform. If you currently use the SimplePractice EHR, please note that the closing of SimplePractice Learning has no impact on your SimplePractice EHR account.


How long do I have to complete courses I’ve purchased?

We strongly encourage you to complete your courses before October 1, 2024, as your SimplePractice Learning account won't be accessible after this date.

Note: Refunds will not be issued for incomplete courses.


Can I still enroll in new courses?

New course enrollments are closed as of August 31, 2024. You can continue to access any courses you previously enrolled in until September 30, 2024.


What will happen to my gifted courses or codes/coupons I’ve been issued?

If you previously received a gifted course or bulk redemption code, you have until September 30, 2024 to redeem this and complete all your courses. Enrollment for new courses was closed on August 31, 2024.


How can I access my course certificates?

We recommend downloading your course certificates for your records before October 1, 2024, as they will be inaccessible from your SimplePractice Learning account after this date.

For help accessing your course completion certificates after October 1, 2024, please submit a help request to our team.

Tip: If you have a SimplePractice account, you can upload your course certificates to Settings > Practice > Business files. To learn more, see Managing business files.


Can I download a course I’ve purchased?

SimplePractice Learning platform doesn’t offer the ability to download courses. We recommend downloading your course slides, along with any resources referenced during a course before October 1, 2024.
