Choosing a Specialty

When creating your SimplePractice account, you're given the option to choose your specialty. You can choose from the following:

  • Behavioral Health Therapist
  • Dietitian or Nutritionist
  • Chiropractor
  • Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Substance Abuse Counselor
  • Other

SimplePractice works great for private practices specializing in speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, dietitians, substance-abuse counselors, acupuncturists, applied behavior analysis, and many more.

If you need to adjust your specialty after you've created your account, you can do so by going to My Account > Settings > Basic Info > Clinical Info tab and choosing from the Specialty dropdown menu:
