Part 1. Automating your client billing documents
The Client billing documents page includes settings that help automate invoices, statements, and superbills. In part 1, we'll review how to configure these options in your account.
Part 2. AutoPay
AutoPay allows you to automatically charge clients for their appointments, eliminating the need to manually process payments after each session.
AutoPay can be enabled at the practice level and customized for individual clients based on their preferences. Once a client is enrolled, the default card saved in their profile is charged the full invoiced amount overnight between 12 AM and 6 AM in your local time zone.
Important: An online payments account is required to use AutoPay. To learn how to set this up, see Getting started with online payments.
Part 3. Billing documents
SimplePractice offers three types of client-facing billing documents: invoices, statements, and superbills. In this video, we’ll review each document type and how they’re used.
