Exporting billing records from SP into QuickBooks- need advice

We are exploring the possibility of using SP's export feature to send insurance payment and write off info directly to Quickbooks online. We would really like to hear from someone who does this and whether it works well and what we need to look out for or consider prior to starting this. Thank you.
