calendar sync multiple Google calendars

I am among those frustrated that the calendar sync is moved to the highest tier. Given that, I would like to be able to sync with multiple Google calendars. I'm fine with only having 2-way sync with one Google calendar, but I don't understand why I can't have a 1-way sync with additional Google calendars. I don't use Outlook or iCal for my main calendar, I use a Google account. Is this a feature that can be considered?
