My accountant told me that anyone I pay over $600 for the year needs a 1099 issued to them. My internet service provider (Spectrum) made a W9 available and sent out an email, making the process, well, simple. Where is Simple Practice's W-9 or how do I request one of them? My accountant said I still have to file one if they refuse to complete a W9, with the information I can find.
