Sound issues with Apple AirPods

I just bought a new pair of airpods to use during teletherapy and they are not usable at all with the SimplePractice app.  They work with my computer and phones.  It's the app.

Yup. It's not a SP issue, it's a bluetooth issue with these apps. Anything with Zoom integrated did it, but so did Doxy, and Google Meet (or whatever it's called now). They have to go into the settings on their end and switch the audio on the call.

I would be interested more in how SP might fix this. Working from home, its imperative to my patients that I have headphones to keep our sessions private.

Any update on this issue? I'm having the issue on my end (only while using Simplepractice) where I can not change the volume control. It's excissively loud and I can't lower the volume while using the Airpods.

I similarly have this issue with my bluetooth headphones (Jabra) losing the audio partway through SP calls. It doesn't happen on any other apps, and it doesn't happen on SP with wired headphones. I've tried troubleshooting through Jabra, and it seems like it's more a SP issue for me. Anyone found a way to resolve this via SP?

Hello! I wanted to see if anyone has been able to figure this issue out and if there's a way to make Airpods work well for a session? Thanks!

Any updates on this? This has constantly been an issue for me as well even via desktop.

I have not had any luck with this. I finally had to find a different place to host my meetings so I would not have to rely on earphones.

For Mac users, so far what I've found works better with AirPods is using the Chrome browser for Simple Practice instead of Safari.

Unfortunately, this has been an issue on my chrome browser which is what I use solely for simple practice.

...Hello Simple Practice... Many of us have been asking this question for an unreasonable amount of time for a question to go unanswered - when should we expect a response of some sort? I'm having the same problem as these other individuals, and it's been my only drawback in using Simple Practice, but is incredibly frustrating. Please fix (and respond!)!
