Slow claim processing with Blue Cross

Blue Cross is taking 4-5 weeks to pay claims, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has had any success getting paid more timely. This is really hurting my company and there are weeks I do not receive enough funds to pay payroll. I call them every week trying to encourage more timely payment of the claims, to no avail.

  They drag their feet around the end of every quarter. Probably so they can tell their shareholders that they are flushed with cash and raise their stock price a few points.
