Secondary Insurance Submission for timely filing and tracking

Hello All:    I was wondering if any of the practices have a system in place that runs smoothly for submitting secondary claims.  Right now our billing person submits them once a month, and then we are having them paid due to untimely filing.  Just curious what steps other providers do anduse in your systems for timely secondary insurance filings.
