Creating Couples Portal w/ Individual Client (other clinician)

I'm trying to create a new couple profile. One of the members of the couple is currently being seen by another clinician in my practice. When I enter that member's email into the system, I am told it is an existing email account and am unable to proceed. 

How can I create their couple profile with her email address, which is also being used for her individual therapy portal?
