I have a client who started out as self-pay and then I was paneled to their insurance effective 8/1/23 but I didn't edit their profile information to insurance pay until today. Now I am trying to bill for 2 prior sessions that we had in August to the insurance and I can't figure out how to do that.

  In the client's main billing page, if you find the appointment and click on "Manage" and select "Edit Details", you can change the Type from Self Pay to Insurance. It should then let you file a claim.
