We started up our practice last October, so we are still learning the best way to operate. One of the things that we have not found a way to do is total up the hours that the clinician puts in each year. Simple Practice does not seen to offer this ability. The rep there offered me a work-a-round for it, but it is not a good one.
I am the office manager. The clinician asked me if I could total up the hours that she has put into therapy sessions since we started. She said that she needs this for a couple reasons. First she has to have continued education for so many hours of therapy. Next, even though she is an LPC, she still has to have a certain number of supervision hours for X number of therapy hours. If she does not get these in, her license could be in jeopardy.
For something this important, I would think that Simple Practice would have something so she and I can easily and quickly see at a glance how many hours of therapy she has accumulated. How do other therapists find this out?
