Required Fields on Demographics Form

Simple Practice.... Many other clients have made the suggestion to make some field on the demographics form required, some as many as 4 YEARS ago!. This seems like such as easy change and would be incredibly helpful. Making someone list their address, sex, and DOB are mandatory for ALL healthcare professionals to have on record, so this isn't a legal or ethical issue.... So what is the hold up on this change?

  YES!!! This is a major challenge/annoyance. Having to go back to pt or get into availity or yet another system/portal...
