Adding diagnosis in progress notes

Is there a way to add a drop-down in the progress note to add a diagnosis code for every client visit?  Or would it be possible to have a rule set to review the diagnosis code after so many days where the diagnosis code has to be entered in order to proceed?  

 

Simple Practice, is this something that can be added to a template if not already available?

  I want an option to add diagnosis code drop down to any template. It would be good for intakes, progress notes, and lab orders.

  yes please! if working in a multidisciplinary clinic, the wrong dx codes end up on the progress note. In addition, It would be very helpful to be able to identify specific cpt codes based on icd 10 codes.
