    Yes I am having the same issue and so are some of my colleagues. I have sent SP a message and am waiting to hear back. 
    This is clearly a large issue.

    Yes, the more peers I consult with I see they all have the same issue.  I've submitted a help ticket over 5 hours ago and still no insight on what's happening

    I received this response on Tuesday, "Our clearinghouse is currently investigating a delay in Payment Reports for some payers. As a note, payers often send Payment Reports up to several days after issuing payment for a claim, so it's not uncommon to see a delay of a few days between when payment is issued and when the Payment Report enters a SimplePractice account.
     
    With that said, we'll be sure to update you as soon as our clearinghouse is able to provide additional insight, or if any other information is needed for their investigation.
     
    Please feel free to reach back out if you have any additional questions in the meantime."

    Here's a response I received with a little more detail on NOT entering payments manually:

    Hi there,
     
    Our clearinghouse is aware there is a delay in the delivery Payment Reports for all Anthem/BCBS payers, and it is currently being investigated.
     
    As a note, we would recommend holding off from entering any of these payments manually. If our clearinghouse is able to retrieve these missing Payment Reports, it could cause issues with duplicate payments if payments are added manually in the meantime.
     
    We'll be sure to update you as soon as our clearinghouse is able to provide additional insight, or if any other information is needed for their investigation.
     
    If you’re missing a Payment Report from any other payer, you can send us the following payment details and we can have our clearinghouse investigate further:

    • The Payer ID
    • The check/wire number
    • The payment date
    • The full payment amount

    I got an updated response today for the same issue, it was told to me that they are still investigating and do not have a timeline on when this will be resolved, but that i can add payments manually and delete them later. seems that this may be a longer term issue, will give updates as i hear back!

    Very frustrating situation, I've always had a quick turnaround with BCBS, and curious if this is more clearinghouse related???

    It is frustrating, to be sure. I vaguely recall a message banner about delayed/missing Anthem ERA’s but didn’t think much of it but i do now have 20+ day old claims. I did, however, receive an Anthem payout yesterday (paper check in the mail) but the claims have not reported in…thus no copays assessed and no full amount client owes / deductible amount assigned to clients accounts…and the recommendation is to not enter payments manually. I do hope they get this resolved soon.

    Thankfully claim status can be accessed in Availity, and payments are being transmitted by BCBS.  While very inconvenient, to NOT  enter payments manually is poor customer service for our clients.

    Agreed, I've gone ahead, after an additional email from Simple Practice stating that I can delete duplicate payment reports later, and started entering them manually. I also realized the same issue with my Aetna claims since May 1st.

    Yeah, pay period is about to be up this Saturday so if there's no resolutions by then, I'm going to be manually inputting payments and then deleting later. I heard from someone who spoke over the phone with Simple Practice, that this issue is coming from BCBS directly so they don't have any power in changing it.

    Actually had two Anthem claims from 4/26/2024 just report in, like just now 30 minutes ago, so maybe the issue in process of being corrected/fixed 🙏🤞

    I have not received ERAs either.  I would like to know where the issue is - BCBS, the clearinghouse, or SP?  The idea of entering my own ERAs and then possibly deleting them later is a time-sucking nightmare.  Would love to know what exactly is going on!

    I just received a payment from BlueCross, but once again do not have a payment report. I am really really hoping that it will arrive shortly, but due to last month's issue, I am a bit worried. Does anyone else have this issue?
