Same here - and now I have a problem because I've been confused about this for a while and need to submit a file to Court. Thank you for posting.

Same here.  This is a great question and a very needed feature

How do you update the treatment plan without opening the old one?  Do you have to create a new one?

I have to update my first treatment plan and I'm coming across this same problem. it seems like the options are to unlock and edit the original or to create a new one. I rather not edit the original so I'm left with one unfavorable option.

Actually someone sent me the instructions.  You do not have to recreate it.    If you go to the page that lists all the progress notes and plans.  Filter to Treatment Plans, you will be taken to a page where you put in the diagnosis; don't do anything yet, click on the button that says "Load last plan".  From there you can load the last treatment plan and make changes.

Yes. That works great. Thanks for sharing. I'd Like to hear back from others if that resolves their issues or not. In any case, they could make it more clear.

So will loading the last plan create a new plan or edit the original?

Loading will load the last version of the plan.

That's what I'm trying to avoid. If I see in the reminder that a tx plan needs updating, I have to go to the client's file, check the status and then go back and delete.  extra steps that seem unnecessary.  Hoping that there was a better system.

Can you send it to the client for signature? Can you sign it yourself after doing that?

What would be ideal is when you get the reminder...click on the reminder...you are brought into the treatment plan. Click on some button (that's not currently there) like "Update status/progress" and you are brought into edit mode where you are able to select from a drop down for each goal the status such as "in progress", "complete", etc.  Just my 2 cents.

When you go into a clients note for session, if you look on the right side of the note, you will see treatment progress. You can update clients status on goals as well as put input/clients perspective. Hope this helps.

When prompted to update and review a treatment plan, how is this done without starting all over? I don't see the point of a prompt to update if you can't add progress or change/add goals. Am I missing something???

Totally agree with these concerns.  I get it that there are other places to reference a client's progress, but why a prompt to update something you can't update?
