N403 Scrubbing Error
Has anyone else received the N403 Scrubbing error for a Cigna client? I just received one for a client, and I can't figure out what's wrong. The information is identical to every claim I've submitted to her up until now, and all of those were processed just fine. My understanding of the N403 code is it's seeking a full 9 digit zip code, so I updated it to the full number, and it still bounced back with the same scrubbing error. I reached out to support via email last week, but I haven't heard back yet.

What I was told from SP is to look into the template (under Settings) to look at the Zip code there. I was to remove a space between the Zip and the second set of zip numbers. There should be 9 digits sequentially with no dash or space. When I did that, the claims went through. I was told that SP changed their expectations based on info from insurance.

Did you look under the Settings area for the original template for billing for clients? I was directed to look at the Zip code for my practice. There should not be a space between the 9 digits for zip code. You will see no space or dash...just the 9 digits sequentially. If there is a dash/or space remove it and save your change.
That solved the problem for me so no more Scrub.
