What is the difference between what Simple Practice advertising about helping a provider get signed up for electronic payments and what CAQH does?

Hi Gay, I’d be happy to help with your question. SimplePractice allows you to enroll in Payment Reports, which means that you receive electronic ERAs/EOBs through our platform so that insurance payments are automatically entered and allocated. CAQH is a little different, and allows you to get paid electronically by insurance payers. Let me know if that helps!

So If I'm submitting insurance claims through Simple Practice, does that mean that I do NOT need to sign up with CAQH Enroll Hub in order to receive electronic payments?

Hi Dorothy, if you'd like to receive electronic payments, you will most likely need to sign up with CAQH EnrollHub - electronic payments, or EFTs, are handled outside of SImplePractice.
