Hi Monica, you can send documents to clients at any time through the Share button on their chart.

How do I re-send the docs for intake. The client said they did not get the email. Also, I did re-send the portal link. Why does this activity not show. Therefore, I don't know if the client recieved the new link.

Hi Trudi, you can go to the Activity page to view if a document was sent. You can also view if a document was sent by going to the Shared With Client box in the left hand column of the client's file.

You can resend a client documents by navigating to the Shared With Client box and deleting the documents that you would like to resend. You can delete the documents by clicking the X. Once the documents are deleted, you can click Share New and check the documents you would like to resend. For detailed information on how to do this, please refer to this Help Center guide: How to share documents with existing clients.

This is the second time in two weeks that I have had the same issue.  Emails to the patients are stating rejected.  However, the email address is good because I sent the same patient an email via Gmail. What is the issue?

Hello - My new client accessed the portal and filled in documents TWICE. She was unable to click SEND and CLOSE. A red circle with a line through it came up. She shared her screen with me and I saw this to be true. (She is in IT)

Hi Sandee, we'd be happy to help with this. First, suggest to your client that she clear her cache and cookies. Next, have her try again. If this issue persists, please reach out through the ? bubble so the Success team can investigate. - Gillian

Can you send bulk mailing to clients such as used in constant contact?

Hi Charmaine, it is not currently possible to send a mass email to clients via SimplePractice to safeguard against the possibility of sending PHI in a mass email.

I have a client that has asked for a copy of his intake for his attorney. Is there a way for me to share this with him securely via Simple Practice?

Hi Amanda, sure thing. Simply open the Intake from his Overview page, hit Print, and save it as a PDF. Then, upload it to the Uploaded Files section of the client's chart, and hit Share to share it with the client securely through the Portal.

    Good Afternoon.

How can I add a document from my computer like a (therapeutic excersise or another questionary to my documents. Them, I can use at any moment with any client?. I just see the way that you go to specific client and download the document from your computer. It is the only way?

Happy to help, Odalys. You can upload documents as Consent Forms (read-and-sign) or downloadable PDFs for your whole caseload under My Account > Settings > Client Portal > Shared Documents and Files. Then, you can share the document with clients through the Share button on their Overview page.

    Hi Gillian,

In response to your response to Odalys above:  What if I want to share a confidential document (i.e.,g psychological report) with one specific client?  If I upload it by going to My Account >Setting?Client Portal>Shared Documents and Files, would my entire practice then have access that document?  I'm looking to share individual client documents to individual clients without the rest of my practice having access to it.

Hi Keelan, happy to help. If the client document is specific to the client, you can upload it on their Overview page under Uploaded Files, then share it with the client through the Share button.

How do we share assessments with patients?  That does not appear to be an option for "share with?"

Hi Cere - If you'd like your client to fill out an Assessment Template, you'll want to change the template type to Intake Form in Settings > Notes and Forms. Click on the relevant Assessment, then use the dropdown menu to change the template type to Intake Form. This way your client can fill it out electronically. If you'd like to send them an assessment you've already filled out for them on their Overview page, you'll want to download the Assessment and reupload it to the client's file, by clicking Upload to the top right. Finally, click the Share button to the top right and send the uploaded Assessment to your client.
