Can you upload an existing personalized Progress Note Template that is in Word format?

Hi Kira, no, you cannot upload a template from a different format. However, you can rebuild your Progress Note Template using the Word template as a guide. There's a great guide on doing this in our Help Center here: https://support.simplepractice.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000188623-My-Notes-and-Forms-Creating-customized-client-intake-and-progress-note-templates

    Hello,

Am I able to upload all my current intake paperwork that is in google drive and also word documents, or do I need to rebuild them all?

Hi Kelly, I'd be happy to help. For read-and-sign forms like Consent Forms or your Notice of Privacy Practices, you can add and edit these under My Account > Settings > Client Portal > Shared Documents and Files. Intake questionnaires can be added and edited under My Account > Settings > Notes and Forms.

In order to use the SimplePractice Client Portal for paperless intakes, you will want to recreate them in SimplePractice. Our Client Intake Forms class at https://www.simplepractice.com/classes is a great way to learn how to recreate your intake in SimplePractice.

How can I upload an image of a psychotherapy note to the actual note page? I do not want them just stored in uploaded files. I want to have an image of my note in the psychotherapy note section

Hi Leanne - Currently there isn't a way for you to embed a photo in the notes' text fields. If you'd like to add this function as a suggestion on our Ideas and Suggestions Board, I'd encourage you to do so here: http://simplepractice.uservoice.com/

I am interested in uploading a hard copy of a  progress note (hand written)  into the progress note section of a client's chart.  Is that possible?

Hi Angela - Yes, you can do this by clicking on the +Progress Note for the Appointment, on the client's Overview page, as if you're adding an electronic progress note, then scrolling down to the Attachments section and clicking the Attach New Document button.

Why can't you allow us to upload our own progress note forms? I don't want to spend the time to make a new one! This is such a waste of time. Please consider allowing this! thanks

    Hi there,

I agree with Leanne and Elizabeth. It would be great if there was a way to upload templates that were compatible with Simple Practice.  I am not savvy enough to to create the progress note that I like in Simple Practice.  Maybe it could be like an app store. I would be happy to pay to have more access to different progress notes that would meet my needs.  I am trying to find someone to make a progress note in simple practice for me but even that is quite difficult right now as most of the admin support sites out there are looking for monthly subscriptions rather than providing a al carte services like custom progress notes.

    Hello,

Considering how much more we are paying now for SP can you please have a feature where you can upload your own progress note template - i have a good one that I want to use for every client and don't want to take the time to create it. Please make our lives easier and add this feature! Thank you!
