    Hi Karolina,

    I set up the stripe payment process through simple practice.  Do I need to set up a separate stripe account on stripe.com?

    No, you do not. That's the beautiful thing about SimplePractice's Stripe integration for Online Payments! 

    How much time has elapsed between running the payment and seeing the deposit? It should take approximately 2 business days, sometimes a little longer for your first payout.

    Thanks for the quick response.  I made the test payment on Tuesday.  Just checked my bank account, nothing there yet.

    Hi Jane, for outside card payments, you'll want to enter these as Manual Credit Card payments. You will not be able to see your payout schedule within SimplePractice. For the most functionality and the most seamless integration, we recommend using Stripe/Online Payments.

    Hi there, Stripe's transaction fee is 2.95% plus 30 cents for each successful transaction.

    Hi there, there is not currently a way to link an existing Stripe account to your SimplePractice account. However, you can set up Online Payments powered by Stripe in SimplePractice under My Account > Settings > Billing and Services > Online Payments.

    You can change the bank account associated with your Stripe payouts any time you wish by going to the Online Payments portion of your account, and clicking here:
    https://secure.simplepractice.com/practice_settings/online_payments/edit

     

     

    Once this change is made and saved, any payments you run afterwards will be routed to this account.

    I have not had problems during this free trial, except that it does take longer for payments to be submitted to my bank as my previous platform. That was until last week, I have not received my payments from 3/19 for five clients. Instead I received some payments for clients I saw this week. I am not sure what to do as I don't want a client to have a big hit or something as these are paid----what is wrong?

    Hi, I opened a free trail account early last week and started processing payments last Tuesday. I have not recieved payout, there is no payout information on the payout report and the amount is also weird and doesnt make sense even if I take into account the processing fees. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

    I had many stripe purchases on April 28 - something over 4000 - I am wondering why these transactions havent been deposited in my account - what I am concerned about is that transactions after April 28 have been deposited.

    Hello, I have searched your training info and still am not clear about how to set up a Stripe account. My client shows he has a "credit" on his end. I show that he "paid" but I do not have any money in the bank account. Please contact me and walk me through this as it is important. Thanks.

    I have been using simple practice for years, and on Tuesday all my credit card charges were reviewed at the end of the day and matched what I billed.  On Wednesday it showed all my charges for Wednesday and Tuesday.  I did not receive my deposit today for Tuesday transactions.  Can someone in online payments please take a look at this.

    Can someone please contact me regarding setting up stripe, I entered my bank information 6 days ago and have still not received instructions to set up. I have asked numerous questions in the help section to which I HAVEN'T gotten a response. I am seeing clients now and have not been able to bill them for services! PLEASE ADVISE

    Hi,

    I am new to SP and unsure if everything is set up the way it is supposed to for me to recieve payouts?  I have not recieved any payments yet and I clicked "Add payment" last week on Friday.  I thought it was supposed to take 2-3 days.  Do any bank accounts not work with Stripe?  Thanks!

    Hello,

    I have been getting paid for copays from Simple practice since 2019.  I am trying to do my 2019 taxes and need to SPEAK with someone from Simplepractice because I have deep trouble understanding these things without a LIVE person.  I did not get me K-1099 form from stripe and NEVER set up a stipe account outside of Simple practice.  How do I get this form to know what my fees were to deduct the fees?

    Has anyone been able to get an answer from Simple Practice on getting a 2019 1099k? I asked a question and got the answer to look at the tax report. I know how to do that, what I want to know is if someone produced a 1099K and I just didn’t receive it.

    I am wondering how long it takes for credit card payments through Stripe to be deposited into my bank account. My account has been verified and the payments show as having gone through. When I look to see the approximate date for the deposit, there isn't a column that shows that for me. It has been 7 days since the first payment and I just took another payment yesterday. Still nothing in my bank account. I'm concerned that these payments are "lost" or in limbo. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    hi, I am experiencing the same issues as above. this is extremely concerning- it seems as though people are not collecting accurate payouts. I dont understand why I havent received payouts almost a week later and why it is not reflecting the accurate amount of income in my account. 

    the amount of time I have spent trying to figure out these issues is now outweighing any benefits of using SP ,and the fact that others are experiencing this makes me extremely nervous. please advise ASAP.

    Hi,

    I believe I have two issues:

    1.) I'm taking copayments through stripe and have not yet received a single copayment to my bank account. It's been more than 7 days.

    2.) Additionally, my system does not have any option for me to change my payout date or even see if these payments are in process. 

    What is going on? I just feel like I have money being paid into a void….Please help!
