Insurance payments per client

Is there any way to see all the insurance payments for one specific client? I know they are listed in the clients account under "billing," but they are mixed in with the sessions and payments. I'd like a list of just the insurance payments.

    Hi Susan, you can see a full list of the insurance payments for a single client under Appointment Status. This report can be easily exported to Excel so you can total the Insurance Payments column for a quick summary of all the insurance payments for a single client.

    Miranda, to find a specific client's Appointment Status Report, you can click Appointment Status on the upper right-hand side of the client's Billing tab.

    Hello.  I'm looking for the same thing.  I see the appointment status.  It shows my client paid his copay.  But I'm not seeing where I can find that "I" actually received payment FROM the insurance company.  Where can I find this?  BCBS processed it and paid several days ago.  So I'm wondering where I can find the payment.  Thank you.

    Hi Shannon,

    For some insurance payers, you will receive information about payments directly from the payer before that same information is received by SimplePractice through your payment report enrollment. If you are still not seeing payment information appearing in the next few days, please send us a Help Request using the Email option that is available when clicking the Get Help button at the bottom left corner of SimplePractice.
