I have submitted enrollment for ERA for multiple insurance companies. They are still saying submitted. How can I check on the status or to see what else I need to complete this process to be able to get ERA's through simple practice? It has been a few months and I'm starting to wonder if I did it right. |

Hello,
I submitted for "enrollment" with Medicaid of Vermont over three months ago and it still says "submitted." I have contacted Medicaid of Vermont and they say they haven't seen anything come through their system for review. They also say that they cannot assist me with setting up electronic claim billing through Simple Practice and that someone from SP will have to assist with this.
Note: I haven't had this issue with BCBS or other insurance companies.
Can someone please contact me directly to troubleshoot this issue?

Hi Nadia, happy to help. Cigna requires enrollment for Payment Reports (electronic EOBs that tell SimplePractice how much you got paid and for which sessions). Cigna does not require enrollment for claim filing, though. I'd recommend enrolling in Payment Reports today, then filing your claims. Your Payment Report enrollment will take approximately 8-10 weeks to process.

It has been several weeks since I submitted my enrollments for insurance payers. I am wondering if I did something incorrectly? Also, If i file claims electronically without payment report enrollments approved, will I still get paid? and How so ?

Hi everyone, I'd be happy to help. Your enrollment will stay in the "Submitted" status until it has been either Accepted or Rejected. It takes approximately 8-10 weeks to process an enrollment to submit claims or receive Payment Reports in SimplePractice.
You can check on the status of your enrollment by reaching out to the SimplePractice Success team directly through the ? bubble - if you find that your enrollment hasn't changed status after 8 weeks, please let us know via Chat or email and we'd be happy to look into it.
