Insurance claims
AnsweredI have claims to Anthem that have been in the accepted phase for up to 17 days. Is that typical? What is the usual turn around time for claims billed to Anthem?

Hi. I am trying to change the first two claims on a client's billing section from self-pay to insurance. The client has insurance, these 2 appointments have not gone toward her deductible and they should have. There is no edit button on the billing section for these two particular claims like there are the rest of them, for me to change it to insurance. These were from May and June 2019. This is very frustrating. I also cannot send a help desk ticket. Someone please help me.
Thank you,

Hi Gabrielle - If you're using the Billing > Insurance > Unbilled Appointments page to create batch claims, only the appointments marked as Insurance Pay appointments will be included in claims created. From your client's Billing page, any appointment in the set date range will populate into claim when you click +Create New > CMS 1500/ Claims Form. In your client's Billing page, please click on each appointment to make sure the right ones are marked Insurance Pay and the older ones are marked Self-Pay. Then create your batch claim for this client in Billing > Insurance > Unbilled Appointments. Hope that helps!
