Out of network provider

    Hi Shushanik,

    I understand that you're wondering whether you'll need to subscribe to our Professional Plan in order to file electronic claims as an out-of-network provider in SimplePractice. Currently, it's only possible to file electronic claims through SimplePractice while you're on the Professional Plan, regardless of whether you're an out-of-network or in-network provider.

    I don't understand the response.  I will be billing out of network, as I have been doing with United, Aetna, Cigna, Florida Blue through Availity or paper forms.  What is the difference between being on the Professional Plan and being in/out of network?   This is an important piece.
