    Hi JP, making updates on your synced Google Calendar does not notify your clients of changes. However, if you make an update on your SimplePractice calendar, you can send a time-of-scheduling reminder, optionally. To turn on the option to send time-of-scheduling reminders, visit My Account > Settings > Client Reminders, and check the box at the top of the page next to "Prompt to send reminder when creating/rescheduling appointment." That way, you can immediately notify clients if there's a change to their scheduled appointment.

    Is there a way for clients to sync their calendar with the appointment calendar; so when an appointment is on the SP calendar by therapist and send appointment date from the calendar; is there a way for the client to sync to their personal online calendar?

    Hi Stefani, when a client has an appointment scheduled with their provider, they can visit the Client Portal to see their upcoming appointments and add these appointments to their Google Calendar or iCal.
