Credit Card Auth
Answered

Has anyone else tested the credit card auth system? I recently created a fake accounts in my own system and put in credit cards with different with 1 or 2 digits off and the system did not reject them.

I being this up because we have clients that make this mistake from time to time. Is there away cards can be validated each time they are entered? Can we give clients the option to delete old cards they do not want to use anymore?

The system does have a system in place to check the digits on a credit card before enabling you to add it to the system, It also places a $1 hold to test that the card number is valid before enabling you to store a credit card to the client's details page. When a credit card number is added that doesn't check out, the text of the number will turn red. (Why are my clients getting charged $1 by Stripe?)

I'd like to dig deeper into what occurred with your test client and I'll reach out by email so we can investigate with you.
