Forms (Consent form and HIPAA) for clinical consultation
Hi fellow psychologists,
I am a licensed psychologist in Seattle, WA who would like to provide clinical consultation (not supervision) to other psychologists/therapists. I am curious if anyone in the community provides a similar service and knows the law and regulations around it? Do we need to have both consent form and HIPAA forms for the therapists receiving consultation? Would you be willing to share the forms you use? Any input is much appreciated! Thank you, Lina Pranata

Hi Lina:
I am working on sorting this out, as well. Did you make any headway? I would be curious to know.
Additionally, how do you set consultation up in SP for billing purposes? It seems odd to make a patient appointment, but "other" does not allow for billing. I have found this clunky when I have provided legal consults, and haven't found a work around.
If you've sorted this out, I'd love to know what you've done. If not, maybe we can put our heads together. My email address is ajwilcox@lclark.edu.
