Can Simple Practice Read other Calendars in Google?
Answered

If I 2-way sync with Google Calendar, Simple Practice ONLY reads events that are in the Simple Practice calendar. So if I have a non-client appointment during office hours I HAVE to put it in my Google Calendar using the Simple Practice calendar? Is that correct?

So basically I can only use the Simple Practice calendar in Google during client hours? I have used other schedule software that 'reads' all the calendars on my Google calendar, not just the scheduling one.

Thanks,

Nancy

Hi Nancy, I'd be happy to help. SimplePractice's Google Calendar sync only reads the SimplePractice calendar layer in your Google Calendar. In order for events from your Google Calendar to sync up to your SimplePractice Calendar, you'll always want to schedule it on the SimplePractice calendar layer in Google Calendar. Let me know if you have any additional questions about this, or anything else SimplePractice. I'm here to help.
