Hi there, I'd be happy to help with this. If you'd like to change the time that the appointment starts, you can simply type in the appointment start time in the highlighted area in the below screenshot:

There's no need to use the arrows if you'd prefer not to - the text box that contains the appointment time is editable, so you can type directly into it.

Let me know if you have any additional questions about this, or anything else SimplePractice. I'm here to help.

Also can a client set up their own profile online or do we have to initially add them?

Hi Jeffrey, happy to help with your questions. To adjust the times displayed on your Calendar, visit My Account > Settings > Calendar. To adjust the duration of your default service from 50 minutes to 60 minutes, visit My Account > Settings > Billing and Services > Services, click the name of your default service, change the duration of the service, and click Save.

At this time, the SimplePractice team is unable to advise as to which CPT codes should be used to bill for which services. I'd recommend reaching out to the insurance payer you're billing to confirm the correct code for this service.

I would like to schedule a 75 minute appointment, which would be a 50 minute basic appointment and a 25 additional appointment. How do I manage this?

Following the same thought as someone asked... How can I set it up so when I click on a particular block, the session would begin at the top of the hour without having to move any arrows or re-typing... There must be a way to avoid having to re-type each time...

Hi Sandra - On the Calendar grid, each line represents a new hour, if you click on the line, you should get an appointment start time that's at the top of the hour. If you're slightly off, you can highlight the minutes and type in "00," pictured here:

Is there a way to see just the open appointments on the calendar? Rather than going through each time slot.

Hi Randy, not at this time, but you can always create a Test Client for yourself and use your Client Portal to login as them. From here, you can click Request Appointment and see all your Availability from your clients' perspective.
