It is necessary for administrative staff to be able to make notes such as contact with clients, scheduling/rescheduling, any billing contact or contact with insurance. Please let us know how to create such a note in the record.

This is a horrible gap in Simple Practice. We like our admin to be able to enter information such as phone calls or other contacts into the patient's record. The 'administrative note' is useless. I want there to be a 'paper trail' that documents client contacts. Chart notes aren't to be used for clinically sensitive information, from my perspective.

Is there a way to save Administrative notes so that we can keep track of things - for example, calls the admin staff makes to follow up on clients.

We need to be able as a Support Staff member (non-clinical) to be able to write Chart Notes.  Can you make a section for Non-Clinical chart notes to be in the same area?

Can non clinicians (scheduler/biller) create clinical note templets with the features they are able to access?

Hi Noe, I'd be happy to help with your question. Non-clinical staff cannot write, and do not have access to view, Chart Notes. Chart Notes are a part of the client's medical record. However, Administrative Notes, which are not part of the client's medical record, can be entered, read, and updated by non-clinical staff.
