Booking therapists with a room
AnsweredAt our center we have more therapists than rooms—each therapist works part time. Following this, to maximize the use of our facility we need a way for the booking widget to know not only when a therapist is available but ALSO when a room is available.
It appears that SimplePractice does not support this use case. Is that correct? If so, are there any workarounds?

We have been using Simple Practice only for a few months. We are on the Professional Plan with 9 counselors. As we are all moving back into the office for primarily face-to-face sessions, this is becoming such an important issue for us that we are already considering switching to other options that have "room booking" as a standard feature. Can you please update us on the progress of adding this feature? Thank you.

Would like to know if there is any progress on working with booking rooms. We also have multiple part time therapist for only a few rooms. Since they have access to their own calendars only, they don't know if a room is booked or not. This is an issue if 2 people book the same room at the same time. Can Simple Practice please address this issue? Thank you.

Hi Jessica, you should be able to add multiple rooms with the same address, so insurance billing is unaffected. Update on this feature, please. About 2 years ago, SimplePractice mentioned they were working on this feature (see comment below).

I attempted to go to the subscribe link to see for team's progress on this feature and it has been removed. This feature is something users really need (it appears to be an ask not only in this community posting but also appears in multiple other community postings under different titles) like trying to address double booking the same room. When do you expect to have this feature? It not only will help your users stay with you given recent increases in price structure but you likely will be able to target more center group practices with this new feature as a reason to move to your platform.
