Hi Berta, I'd be happy to help. CAQH EnrollHub is typically where you go to set up EFT, or Direct Deposit, with insurance payers. If you'd like to receive your insurance payments via Direct Deposit, you'll want to fill out the forms available to you on CAQH EnrollHub.

I attempting to enroll today and it said the site was closed for construction.  Is that because it is January 1st?  Or is there something going on with there website?

Hi Zachary, according to the CAQH EnrollHub site, EnrollHub is currently unavailable. You may want to reach out to EnrollHub directly for more information or a timeline for when they will be back online.

I have been waiting for Enrollhub to come back online since December 27, 2019.  When I contacted them yesterday, they stated that there was a "security issue" and had to take their site offline.  This is really delaying things to be completed with United Health Care and Tricare East.

I was looking into Availity to help manage ERA enrollment.  Does SimplePractice or Eligible have an Availity Customer ID?

Hi Krista, Availity is not a clearinghouse that SimplePractice partners with, so an Availity Customer ID is not available for ERA enrollment through SimplePractice. We're continuing to keep an eye on CAQH EnrollHub's status.

I got a notice today from Martin's Point Health Care stating that they will be using 3 EDI options starting April 1st.  The choices are Change Healtcare, Office Ally and Relay Health.  Does simple practice work with any of these venders for electronic claims?  Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Abigail, happy to help. Martin's Point Health Care can be billed through SimplePractice without you needing to enroll first. SimplePractice's clearinghouse, Eligible, sometimes connects to payers through third parties, so payers don't always list SimplePractice as an option for EDI even though we do fully support claim submission to Martin's Point. Let me know if you have any additional questions about this, or anything else SimplePractice. I'm here to help.

I'd like to use CAQH EnrollHub as my clearinghouse. How do I set that up?

Hi, I hope this is the correct forum for this issue. While setting up EFT/ERA through CAQH EnrollHub, they asked if I need to request receipt of the ACH Payment Related Information from my financial institution. It is not indicated for those practices who use a vendor or clearinghouse. I am curious, before I contact my bank, does Eligible play a part in the transfer of the ERA related information mentioned? Thank you in advance.

Hi Teresa, SimplePractice has its own clearinghouse - you may want to consider using our fully integrated insurance billing platform instead.

John, yes, our clearinghouse Eligible receives Payment Reports from payers and transmits them to your SimplePractice account electronically.

I have believed that I needed to enroll in CAQH EnrollHub to process electronic payments even with SP. Do I need to enroll with CAQH EnrollHub in conjunction with SP or is EnrollHub superfluous?

Hi John, that depends. Are you enrolling in EFT (electronic fund transfer/direct deposit)? If so, you may need to use CAQH Enrollhub. Otherwise, any interfacing you do with outside clearinghouses outside of the ERA/EDI enrollment process (Payment Reports and claim filing) is superfluous.

This has all been super confusing to me. I am only billing 3 insurance coverages:  Regence, Triwest, and Kaiser (out of network for the last 2).  Triwest can be accessed with CAQH for ERA/EFT, but not seeing the same ability with Regence and Kaiser. Am I missing something?

Hi, It does not look like this is managed anymore by Simple Practice, but I have a CAQH problem. My understanding was that Kaiser or SImple Practice made it so that I had to enroll with CAQH, so I thought I had only to find out I have to use CAQH pro? I am not contracted with Kaiser (though thinking of it) but only a "letter for a payment provider".  So, when I finally go on CAQH pro I realize this is a whole credentialing process, which I would rather avoid but I have not been paid from Kaiser since last November! I was happy with my checks in the mail.  I have also sent a message to simple practice to try to speak with someone.  Of course, I have been in the Kaiser maze too.  It's all very confusing.  Any help would be great.  If any NorCal folks are here you can email me?  Bridget@bridgetbertrand.com It seems Kaiser, norcal was the one wanting me to use CAQH but I was happy with my simple practice format.

    Ok, thanks for reading :)
