    I'd be happy to help. If the insurance payer is still sending you paper EOBs, but you're enrolled to receive Payment Reports in SimplePractice, you can contact the insurance payer directly to update them on your communication preferences.

    if you are receiving era do you still have to keep paper eob for your records we are located in NC and have been discussing

    Hi Joyce, I'd be happy to help. To automatically receive insurance payment information and electronic ERAs (Payment Reports) in SimplePractice, you can visit Settings > Insurance and click +Enroll under Payment Reports for the payers you work with. You'll need to complete some steps for the enrollment, then your enrollment will be processed within 8-10 weeks.     I am receiving paper EOBs while SimplePractice is automatically updating with ERAs. Why would these amounts differ? SimplePractice is showing some claims paid by insurance while the EOBs are showing these same amounts not paid but applied to the deductible, so that patient owes that balance. Thanks for your help.

    I was approved to receive ERAs thru Simple Practice, but none of the payments from BCBS ever show up here.  I only receive EOBs via the mail currently and have to keep manually adding all the payments myself.

    Hi Everyone, if you're noticing discrepancies between the EOBs you receive by mail and the ERAs that are populating into your SimplePractice accounts, please reach out to our Insurance Team. If you've submitted an enrollment to receive ERAs through SimplePractice, but aren't receiving them yet, please make sure the Payment Report enrollment was approved in Settings > Insurance > Enrollments. To contact our Insurance Team regarding issues with your ERAs, or Payment Reports, please click on the ? icon in your account > Ask Questions > No > Contact Support > Send an Email Request!
