Hello I deal with the same thing, however I have found a way to get the zip codes.

    https://tools.usps.com/go/ZipLookupAction_input

If you put in the address, this link will give you the full zip code.

    I hope this helps.

That is the link that I have been trying to use but - Its inconsistant in that only some codes show up, and others dont.

I think that Simple Practice should offer this as a benefit to the amounts that group practices pay. It is frustrating, and it adds a long amount of search work to each Scrubbed claim.

Just add 4 zeros at end of zip code and claim will go through

I just add 0001 at the end, works every time.

It is very frustrating and time consuming to be dealing with the issue of the 9 digit zip code, not all claims require and other billing services do not require the 9 digit zip code, Why has this issue not been fixed?

Adding 0000 or 0001 does not always work.

I am having the same issue and I feel very frustrated that I cannot get paid unless I figure this out.

I agree... this is very frustrating.  It waste quite a bit of time hunting it down.

Hi Everyone - Thank you for your feedback on the zip code scrub error. One alternative way to get your clients' full 9 digit zip code is by doing a google search, or zillow search of their address. Other times, the system asks you to add a 9 digit zip code because you've entered their address as a "Street" instead of "Road," or "Drive." I can speak with our Product and Insurance Groups about how to minimize the scrub error triggers for the zip code, or enabling auto-correction options with the exact addresses pulled from Google Maps. Please also add this idea to our Ideas and Suggestions Board so other customers can upvote and comment on it, here: http://simplepractice.uservoice.com/. I'll keep my eyes peeled for this suggestion, so I can bring it to our Product Team's attention. I look forward to seeing what you all have to say!
