Simple Practice NEEDS to automatically fill in 9 digit zips to forms
AnsweredIt is BEYOND frustrating that we are getting scrub errors due to not having "the full 9 digit zip code" on the claim form. I was told to go to USPS.com to look each one up individually - WELL the thing is that USPS.com does not provide that information. So we are sitting on at least 9 claims that cannot be completed because we are trying to hunt this information down.
I suggest that simple practice uploads all Zip code, mapping and national address information into their system so that providers can actually do their work, instead of hunting down zip codes.

Hello I deal with the same thing, however I have found a way to get the zip codes.
https://tools.usps.com/go/ZipLookupAction_input
If you put in the address, this link will give you the full zip code.
I hope this helps.

Hi Everyone - Thank you for your feedback on the zip code scrub error. One alternative way to get your clients' full 9 digit zip code is by doing a google search, or zillow search of their address. Other times, the system asks you to add a 9 digit zip code because you've entered their address as a "Street" instead of "Road," or "Drive." I can speak with our Product and Insurance Groups about how to minimize the scrub error triggers for the zip code, or enabling auto-correction options with the exact addresses pulled from Google Maps. Please also add this idea to our Ideas and Suggestions Board so other customers can upvote and comment on it, here: http://simplepractice.uservoice.com/. I'll keep my eyes peeled for this suggestion, so I can bring it to our Product Team's attention. I look forward to seeing what you all have to say!
