Hi Courtney, I'd be happy to help with your question. SimplePractice tracks your claims, and Payment Reports notify you when claims have been paid. However, SimplePractice doesn't see or touch the funds you receive from insurance payers. If you're seeing Payment Reports coming in on SimplePractice, but haven't received any EFT deposits yet, we recommend following up with payers directly.

Hi Sarah, I'd be happy to help. Because SimplePractice doesn't see or touch the payments you receive from insurance payers, you'll receive an EFT, check, or VCard payment according to how you're set up with the payer. Different payers have different timing for payment, so it's best to reach out to the payer directly if you have a question about your payment method or timing.

Hi Eugene, I'd be happy to help. If this is your first time using SimplePractice's Online Payments platform, it will take approximately 5-7 business days to receive your first payout. After that, you'll receive payouts 1-2 business days after the payment is run. You can check your pending Payout statuses under Reports > Payouts.

I am having payment issues. My account states the billing went through, client's card was billed, client reports the funds have been debited from their bank account, the system reports the services has been paid, but the money has not been deposited into my bank account. I signed up for direct deposit and it has been over 8 business day yet nothing. I called my bank they reported nothing shows pending. I have received funds from other clinets but having issues with one client in particular with two different transactions that are missing. I am concerned.

I too, am having having payment issues. My account states the billing went through, client's card was billed, client reports the funds have been debited from their bank account, the system reports the services has been paid, but the money has not been deposited into my bank account. I signed up for direct deposit and it has been over 8 business day yet nothing. I called my bank and they reported nothing shows pending. Does stripe indicate when funds are returned to the client’s card at the bank for any reason? This is a new account. Could this be the reason there are no deposits showing and if so how do I rectify? I prefer not to contact the client if not appropriate. It have been over two weeks Since the first “paid” invoice was posted...Please advise. Thanks.

Here is the URL to Enrollhub. It will allow you to sign up for EFT with several insurance carriers at once. It is the easiest and fastest way to sign up for EFT. I hope this helps.

Hi everyone, I'd be happy to help. Here are some things you can do to ensure you get paid.
1. If you're getting paid by insurance payers, you can enroll in EFT with the payer directly. SimplePractice doesn't see or touch the funds you receive from insurance payers, and our platform doesn't affect how you receive funds from insurance.2. If your clients are self-pay, or you'd like to collect your copays, you can do so by enrolling in Online Payments under My Account > Settings > Billing and Services > Online Payments. When you add a Stripe Credit Card payment for the client, you'll receive a payout within 1-2 business days (for established accounts). If it's your first Online Payments payout, it may take approximately 5-7 business days for you to receive your first payout. You can check your payouts and status under Reports (on the left-hand side of SimplePractice) > Payouts.
3. Make sure you aren't entering client payments as Manual Credit Card payments. This records a payment outside of SimplePractice (for example, let's say you use an outside credit card processor) and does not charge the client's card or generate a payout.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions about receiving payouts in SimplePractice, and thank you for choosing our platform to run your practice.
