Hi Crystal, I'd be happy to help with your question. SimplePractice's Online Booking feature does not currently support group scheduling. To schedule a group, you'll want to enter each client on your Calendar in the same time slot on your end. We're actively working on enhancements to SimplePractice to make working with groups and classes easier - thank you for your continued feedback as we work on this new feature set.

I hope being able to easily provide group scheduling is a forthcoming feature!

I’m new here and trying to figure out what you mean about scheduling for groups. Currently, clients can go to Acuity and sign up for a meditation class on their own. This works because there might be people who are not patients but see the class advertised online and want to come.

If they cannot schedule themselves into the class on their own, how would it work using the current method?

Hi Jamie, I'd be happy to help with your question. SimplePractice's Online Booking feature currently allows clients to book individual sessions only. If you have a group or class, you'll want to find an alternative means for clients to sign themselves up. We're actively working on group and class scheduling in SimplePractice and look forward to making this possible with SimplePractice's Online Booking soon.

I urgently need group capability. I hope SP can develop this quickly. I don't want to lose my groups. Can you provide a notice to customers when this is accomplished?

I would also like group therapy option.  It is a NECESSARY tool for an EHR for therapists.

Considering that most therapists are now working remotely during COVID-19 we desperately need this function enhanced to reduce work flow issues and the increased demands on us as telehealth practitioners supporting our clients during a pandemic. Please make this a priority. It’s extremely frustrating. Therapy Notes has this function

Is there an ETA for scheduling Group therapy rather than entering each client separately at the same time, which takes all the space on the calendar?

    Hi Stephanie, Jennifer, and Jay,

While we don't have an ETA right now for when group therapy scheduling will be available, we understand this is important and are actively working on it.

If you haven't already, please add your vote or comment to this post on our Ideas & Suggestions board that Gillian mentioned: Group therapy and classes scheduling and notes. By voting and commenting on this post, you'll automatically be notified when we have a status update.

I would also like to ask for a virtual group scheduling feature.  Scheduling individuals that also want to meet together for some sessions is difficult with how it is currently set up because even if you schedule them for the same time, they receive different links for the virtual sessions.  This is confusing to clients and adds the task of me reaching out to them to explain and clarify which link to use.
