Calendar Improvements that would help with Scheduling
Answered

When I'm scheduling appts for our therapists, the calendar does not easily show me where still-available appts slots are. We have 2 active therapists, and when they're both booked up for many appts a day, it makes it hard to see where open time slots are, and occasionally I miss a slot that I could have filled because it's difficult to see where openings are.

Additionally, we have several times had a client booked out for reoccurring appts, and had one of those end up being double booked over another appt that was scheduled in advance. Could you please add a feature that would alert us in case of a double booking?

Also helpful would be a feature that would flag us when an appt is booked on a day where the therapist is not available. Occasionally, our clinicians will remove availability for a day they usually work and SP still allows me to book clients for appts on that day (I handle all booking of appts for clients who would prefer to call and schedule).

These are major issues we deal with when scheduling, and solving these could really help us as a practice. Thanks!

A chronic, and really terrible, problem with SI calendar is that, when a patient ends the block of services that were originally counted when registered ( a block of 30, a block of 40, etc), the system simply drops them off without alerting me that client's block has ended.  With a caseload of about 60 patients, I cannot remember off the top of my head when an hour should have remained assigned to an ongoing patient - I look ahead on the calendar, they have been erased, and it looks open.  This has happened countless times and is very, very aversive to ongoing patients.  Please fix this.

    Hi Laura,

We've recently added a new practice reminder letting you know that a client's recurring appointment series is going to end soon. This reminder will appear in your Reminders tab 31 days before a client's recurring appointment series is scheduled to end.
