Consultation Services

  • Official comment

    Hi Lisa,

I'd be happy to help with this question. Some of the professionals in our community choose to add organizations or businesses as Clients so that they can schedule and bill for consultation.

Here's a guide from our Help Center on creating a new client: Adding a new client and navigating your Clients & Contacts list

Many SimplePractice customers also choose to create a custom Service Code under My Account > Settings > Billing and Services > Services to keep track of non-therapy services rendered. Here's a guide on how: How to use and create service codes

Let me know if you have any additional questions about this, or anything else SimplePractice.

This is very useful, I never considered entering consultation clients. How do I save this?

Hi April - You can add and save a service code for future use by going to My Account > Settings > Billing and Services > Services. Then you can add it to a client appointment from the Calendar, or create an appointment with that service code, as pictured here:

Hi Hector - I'm happy to answer any questions you may have over this Community Forum Post, or you can submit a question by Logging into SimplePractice to submit a Help Request. Click here to find out how:
