Resending Documents (How do I)

Hello, 

I want to know how to resend the documents that are typically sent out upon setting up first appointment 

Consent forms  

intake forms 

General question forms 

telehealth consent forms 

 

What is the process, how do I re send these (at any time).

    Hi Erin, you can re-send any of the above documents to clients any time via the Share button on the client's Overview page.

    Actually I tried doing this yesterday and I was not able to check any of the boxes necessary to resend the forms because they had already been sent,  Frustration!  Also, I received an email saying that it is signed,  but I am not able to view or save the document. How do I do this?

    Hi Andrea, I'd be happy to help. If you've already sent a form to the client and they haven't completed it yet, you won't be able to resend them through the Share button. They're already waiting for the client to complete them on the Documents tab of the Client Portal. To view a signed Consent Form, you can visit the client's chart and view the document under Shared With Client.

    The document is not in her file, and when I go to share, it only allows me to email her again.  There is nothing that says 'Shared With Client'

    I also sent out all the intake forms, cannot send them again and the client says that they did not receive the email. I sent out the invitation email again and they were able to get into the portal, but not sign the consent forms.

    I am having the same problem.  I sent the first docs to an email that wasn't right and now when I go to share the docs I am not able to check them off. This is with all my clients. This is an issue that should not be happening.

    I just found the answer on a different thread.!!   How to share a Form from the client's Portal again  You click on Clients, chose your client you need to resend forms to and then click on Manage and View Client then you can click the X button next to the Intake Form under the Shared With Client section on the client's Overview page. Then, click the Share button on the same page to resend the form.

    Thank you, Jennifer! This was happening to me too and did not used to happen.  I hope that it is fixed soon!

    Hi Gillian- it's the concern described above by Andrea.  I sent documents to someone who then could not find the email.  Since they were sent already, the only way to resend them was to do what Jennifer M described above that she found on another thread- to delete all of them and then use the  "share new" link to send them again. It would be great if you could just "resend" documents rather than having to delete them and resend them.

If the client's documents have already been sent, they're still there waiting in the Documents tab of that client's Portal, which is why you need to delete them first if you'd like to resend them and trigger a new email. One way to do this without deleting/resending is to simply send the client a quick Secure Message reminding them to complete the documents that are hanging out in the Documents tab of their Client Portal.

    I am new to SImplePractice and having the same problem. Once I send the initial intake forms, I may want to send more templates such as some of the template questionnaires.  There seems no easy intuitive way to send these things. Also, for my few clients who signed up, not all of them got all the forms they were supposed to get, or I am just not seeing them!  VERY frustrating AND there is no telephone number to call for simple tech support.
