Parent of minor client credit card issue

Hello,
 
The parent of my client who is a minor is listed as a contact and has access to billing documents and the client portal. I sent the parent a link to enter their credit card information via link to the portal. The parent completed the credit card info. However, the credit card info that is listed on the parent's profile is not merged with the client's profile. Because of this, it's not possible for me to manually charge or set up autopay fo the client. The only way I can bill the parent is if I "schedule the parent" for a session, the same time as the client. This presents documentation issues because it looks like the client and the parent are in family therapy. Also, the diagnosis gets assigned to the parent.
 
It seems like the only options are either: to call the parent and ask them to read me their credit card info over the phone (I do not want to do this because it doesn't feel secure or professional after they took the time to fill out their info securely via portal).
 
Or to tell the parent that I cannot charge them via autopay or manually and that they are responsible for paying via the client portal after every session (I do not want to have to ask the parent to do because one of the reasons why I chose this online platform was to streamline billing and communications about it.  In my billing policies, I outlined how autopay works and the parent prefers that over them paying via the client portal after every session.
 
Is there any way to assign the paren't credit card info to the client so that I can set up autopay or manually charge them?

    Hello - I am having the same parent of minor client credit card issue.  It is not automatically billing the Mothers credit card.  I can not find a way to input information differently to make this happen.
