Couples as treatment unit
AnsweredSome time ago I saw an ad about Couples as treatment unit functionality. Is it available yet?
It is a bit crazy to set up an appointment and then select another person to be part of this appointment.
Also, the problem is with note-taking, as I want to add notes for both partners.
Help me out if there is such functionality?

Hi Jack,
We apologize for the late response. We're currently working on a feature enhancement that would allow you to create "Couple Clients" as a unit. We're planning on releasing this very soon.
Keep an eye out for our email announcing the official release of the Enhanced Client Management for Couples feature.
Best,

Just checking in with this question. I saw an email today touting Simple Practice and Couples - assuming it was referring to this thread. And yet..I don't see anything different in SP regarding having one note for both parties. Last thread response was May 21st. Has anything been updated and if so...where? Please SP - can you respond?

Hi Everyone,
I can certainly explain the new Couples Client feature, which has replaced the Couples Appointments functionality. Now you'll want to create a Couple Profile for clients and book appointments for their Couple Profile, instead of creating a Couples Appointment with two individual client files.
To create a couple appointment, you will first need to create a Couple Profile, this applies to new and preexisting clients in your account. If you’ve seen two clients as a couple in the past, our system detects "Potential Couple Clients" in your Clients list and prompts you to create Couple Profiles for them. You can also click +Create New > Client, as if you were creating a new client, select the Couple Client radio button and click the Add from Existing Clients and Contacts link for preexisting clients. Here is more on how to create a new couple profile for the existing individuals. You also have the option to add a new couple profile if you’re seeing brand new couples.
For all details and other FAQs on this update, you can refer to our complete guide: Enhanced Client Management for Couples.
