Making video of me smaller in Telehealth
AnsweredHi everyone!
I am trying to figure out how to make the video of me smaller when I do video sessions as watching myself speak is distracting! Any tips?

It's also a serious problem with the Telehealth app for ios. The image I see of myself is so large and close to center, that it often blocks some of the view of the client. When I working with couples sitting together, the view of myself blocks the face of one of the partners.
This is not a problem with FaceTime or Skype, because the image of myself is smaller and out of the way. Is there a solution

Hi Everyone - If you're using Chrome, you'll be able to right click on the image of yourself, and hit the Picture in Picture option. This will allow you to move the image of yourself out of sight!
David - To reconfigure which participant is shown more prominently on the Telehealth by SimplePractice app, you'll want to click on their image. This should allow you to minimize the view of your video and enlarge the pictures of your client(s).

Hi Erica, you're right, the Picture in Picture workflow will still blackout the box your image used to be in. We're actually making updates to the Telehealth platform that would allow you to hide your self-image in-app. We're looking for Early Adopters to try our updated Telehealth functionality, if you're interested, please submit an email Help Request!
