Using iPad for teletherapy

Does the app for teletherapy on the iPad have a screen share option like on the computer?

  Hi Sandra - At this time there's no way to share your screen while using the Telehealth by SimplePractice app. What you can do instead is use a browser on your iPad, preferably download Google Chrome, or Firefox, and hold your session through the browser.

  Can I open the teletherapy in Chrome and open a new browser to split screen and SP in order to complete the assessment with the new client in real time?

  Hi Annita,

  Yes, you're welcome to have Telehealth open in one browser window and your SimplePractice account open in another browser window and adjust them to be side-by-side on your monitor so that you can take notes will being on the call.

  Where can I find the latest information on using the app for telehealth on my ipad air. First I was told to use the browser, then I was told to use the app. Much of the info in help is 3 years old and I am trying to find current information. Especially, regarding why the telehealth screen only covers 75% of the ipad screen when it is open to full screen.

  Hi Lois, I've just reached out to our Knowledge Systems Team about updating the Getting Started with the Mobile App guide to say that the Telehealth by SimplePractice App is fully compatible with tablets. In the meantime, refer to the section on Mobile Devices in our Getting Started with Telehealth guide.

  Any idea what the timeline is for screen sharing on the iPad?  Is it at least being actively worked on?
  
  When I use SimplePractice in Safari, I see a button for screen sharing, but nothing happens when I press it.  I've had no luck using SP in Firefox or Chrome.

  Hi Daniel, good news is we've started working on this feature enhancement, but I don't have an update as to when it will be available to customers. It's worth mentioning that we recommend customers use the Telehealth by SimplePractice App for Telehealth sessions on their tablets instead of using a browser. When we end up enabling screen sharing on tablets, it will be through the mobile app and not for browsers on tablets.
