BCBS KS Rejected Claim
Answered

I am receiving rejections for my BCBKS biling with the following error message:

Acknowledgement / Rejected for relational field in error. (A8) Rendering Provider's National Provider Identifier (NPI). Billing Provider's National Provider Identifier (NPI). Rendering Provider's id number. (562)

I have reviewed the related posts to this topic and none of those solutions seems to work.  I cannot identify the solution, please advise.  Thank you!

I'm having similar problems in Kaiser.   it seems these have started when I applied for EFT with Kaiser as I was receiving payments correctly prior to that.    I also need help?

I'm getting Rejected due to the following error: Rendering Provider's id number. (153) after updating a NY client to her Kansas insurance but nothing was changed with that. Is it a state to state thing I need to change?

Hi Sabrina, I'd be happy to help. You'll always want to bill to your local BCBS instead of the client's, so if you're located in NY and paneled with BCBS of NY, enter the client's insurance payer as BCBS of NY. BCBS of NY will route the claim to BCBS of KY.

Melanie and Terrie, we'd be happy to help with your questions one-on-one. If you haven't already, please reach out to our Success team directly via the ? bubble in your SimplePractice account. We can assist with claim rejection issues via email, but need some additional information from you first. To ensure that the SimplePractice community gets the fastest possible assistance from our team, I'm going to close this thread for comments now.
